About Clatskanie Farmer Collective
The Clatskanie Farmer Collective is a farmer-led nonprofit working to rebuild a resilient, decentralized local food system in rural Columbia County. Guided by community self-reliance and land-based wisdom, we support 80+ local producers through our year-round Food Hub, farmers market, business advising, and hands-on education.
We prioritize soil-grown foods, fair farmer pay, and accessible nutrition for all—offering SNAP/EBT, Double Up Food Bucks, FDNP, and Oregon Food Bank partnerships to keep good food within reach of every household.
Our vision aligns with The Way Forward: strong local economies, community stewardship, and food systems rooted in relationships rather than extraction. We believe rural places thrive when farmers are supported, neighbors care for one another, and food comes from the land beneath our feet.
