More YOUth

A poet teacher, multimedia instructor and certified teacher in CA, I have been working with k-12 youth for 28 years — through California Poets in the Schools, district and county offices of education, as well as juvi and continuation school systems.

Breaking free from public education is a full time job for parents, and I have worked with many families looking for additional content to enrich their homeschool environment. I publish books of youth poetry, find opportunities for students to share their work with each other via zoom and library readings.

I tell people I teach emotional intelligence through creative expression, and my students are not afraid of the “blank page”.
