About Summertown Ranch
Summertown Ranch is an integrated auxiliary of The Lawful Shepherd Church. It serves as our educational homesteading base and a living example of the values we hold—self-reliance as a people group, stewardship, education, and community.
We are currently developing a range of educational and experiential programs, which we plan to begin offering in 2026. These programs will focus on practical skills, holistic living, and sustainable practices rooted in spiritual and natural law principles. All events and activities are conducted in the private domain under the protection and structure of our Private Membership Association. Please read and sign out Membership Agreement before signing up for events and activities.
Our primary areas of focus include:
Homesteading and off-grid living; If you are willing to make donations we have gifts that are produced from the homestead. The offerings depend on the time of year and what we raise for that season.
-Healthier, more sustainable building methods
-Holistic health and natural living
-Farm tourism and educational stays
-Overnight cabin accommodations for pray, meditation, deep reflection and connection to nature and our ancestral lineages. (coming in the Fall of 2026)
Active members of The Lawful Shepherd Church may petition the board to use the Ranch as a space for their own private services, gatherings, or community offerings—provided they align with our mission and values.
Summertown Ranch is a place of learning, connection, and service to the greater good. We look forward to growing together with those who feel called to walk this path with us.
We also offer pasture raised pork and lard. We raise pigs that are a mix of Kunekune and Potbelly. This results in a meat that has just the right amount of fat to meat. Our pigs live their life in open pastures and woods together with chickens, goats and sheep. They are feed food scraps (fruits and vegetables only) from our local grocery store. We also supplement with whole oats and beet pulp with molasses and soaked in fresh farm skim milk.
meat is $7 lbs
lard is $10 for a pint or $17 for a quart.
