Aron McNicholas- Hartwood Herbals

Aron McNicholas is a Functional Medicine Practitioner and Clinical Herbalist. Aron holds a Masters Degree in Functional Medicine and Nutrition from the University of Western States.

He has participated in clinical training with notable practitioners/organizations such as Chanchal Cabrera, Dr. Jennifer Daniels, 7Song, the Physicians’ Association for Anthroposophical Medicine, Phoenix Aurelius, Dr. Kenneth Proefrock, and many more!

After watching his aunt struggle with a rare connective tissue disease (Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva), he became passionate about supporting individuals with complex conditions through holistic modalities.

Aron currently works to support patients with a broad spectrum of concerns, including autoimmune disease, hormone imbalances, GI issues, and cancer. In addition, he conducts plant walks, monthly classes, and one-on-one consultations. Aron is the proud chapter leader in Indianapolis for the Weston A. Price Organization, working to connect families with the most nutrient-dense food.

In 2022, Aron started the herb company Hartwood Herbals to serve the community by offering wildcrafted herbal medicine. Aron currently offers spagyric & herbal tinctures, liposomal preparations, compounded nutraceuticals, DMSO extracted topical formulas, and much more!
