About The Balanced Runner™

Injury recovery isn’t complete until you’re better than before. Whether you:

  • are a runner or triathlete
  • run in another sport
  • need to run for your job
  • love to hike and walk
  • need to be able to move pain-free in your daily life

I’ll help you learn to work with your body instead of fighting it so you can start moving free and easy and feeling like a kid again.

I specialize in helping people:

  • break free from cycles of recurring or chronic injury
  • recover after medical treatment has failed to resolve their problems
  • avoid unnecessary surgery
  • get rid of their orthotics
  • transition to minimalist footwear

I use the Feldenkrais Method of Movement Education, so the work is low-stress and safe for people who are injured but powerful enough to impact those performing at the highest levels.

Since 2003 I’ve helped athletes from beginner to Olympian achieve their goals, extend their careers, and feel like they’re flying. I’ve also helped countless others improve in their sport or art and get rid of back, knee, and other kinds of pain.
